Turnberry Country Club is a family-oriented private country club community in Lakewood, Illinois; 60 miles northwest of Chicago and just outside Crystal Lake. Today, Turnberry Country Club boasts a 30,000 sq. ft. French Normandy style clubhouse, a renovated 3900 sq. ft. banquet room and four tennis courts.
The crown jewel of Turnberry is the E. Lawrence Packard-designed par 72 golf course. At 6,852 yards from the championship tees, Turnberry has hosted a U.S. Open Qualifier and was also the site of the Illinois Open.
